Delete your data

How to remove a profile, and everything that goes with it, from QuizCraic Junior, QuizCraic and FlickCraic.

In the app (quickest)

QuizCraic Junior and QuizCraic

  1. Open the app and sign in to the profile.
  2. Go to Settings and tap Delete my profile.
  3. Enter the profile's PIN to confirm.

The profile is deleted straight away from our servers and from the phone, with all of its game history, scores, progress, rankings and recovery email.

FlickCraic

  1. Open FlickCraic and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my data and confirm.

Your profile is removed from the phone and from our server, with its match history, online results and any backup.

By email

Can't get into the app, forgot the PIN, or no longer have the phone? Email info@selkware.com with the app and the nickname, and (if one was added) from the recovery or backup email address on the profile. We'll confirm it's yours and delete it within 30 days, then let you know.

If you forgot a QuizCraic PIN and the profile has a confirmed recovery email, you can also use Forgot PIN? on the app's log-in screen to get back in, then delete it from Settings.

What's deleted, and what isn't

  • Deleted: the nickname, PIN, recovery or backup email, game and match history, scores, badges, titles, rankings, club choices and colours, and online game records.
  • Kept: anonymous totals with nothing linking them to you (for example, how many times a quiz question has been answered), and club colour suggestions we already approved, which become part of the game without your nickname.
