FlickCraic privacy policy

For players aged 16 and over.

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

Who we are

FlickCraic is made by Selkware Software ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information FlickCraic collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions, or want to see, correct or delete your data? Contact us at info@selkware.com.

FlickCraic is for ages 16 and over

FlickCraic asks for your month and year of birth once, the first time you open it. Only whether you are 16 or over is kept, on your phone — your date of birth is never sent to us.

What we collect

There are no accounts or passwords. Your profile lives on your phone; to take part in online play and the rankings, the app also sends us:

  • A nickname you pick — not your real name. It appears on leaderboards, the World Rankings and to players you meet online.
  • A random secret that identifies your phone to our server, stored only as a one-way hash.
  • The results of your matches (team, opponent, score, tier), online challenges and Knockout Cup games, which make up the leaderboards and your World Ranking.
  • When you last had the app open and which team you last played as, so friends can see you're available for a challenge.
  • Optional club colour suggestions. If you choose "suggest for everyone", the colours and your nickname are shown to us to check; only colours we approve are shown to other players.
  • An optional backup email. If you add one in Settings → Back up your profile, we email a code to confirm it, then keep a backup of your profile (nickname, stats, trophies and tiers) so you can move it to a new phone. The email is encrypted before storage and never shown to anyone.
  • Basic technical data any app receives automatically — not linked to your profile.

Advertising

FlickCraic is free because it shows ads (unless you buy FlickCraic Pro, below), served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google collects information from your device, such as its advertising ID, IP address and approximate location. In the EEA and UK you are asked first whether Google may use this to personalise ads, and you can change your choice any time in Settings. See Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) for how Google uses this information.

We never give Google (or anyone) your nickname or game history.

In-app purchase (FlickCraic Pro)

FlickCraic is free to play. FlickCraic Pro is an optional one-off purchase that removes ads and adds unlimited Knockout Cups, every Locker design, full stats and match history, and extra Sharpshooter continues. It is sold and processed by Google Play: we never see your card or payment details. Google Play tells the app that Pro has been bought (and, if you reinstall or change phone, restores it to the same Google account); we don't link the purchase to your nickname or send it to our server. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.

Where it's stored

Our database is hosted with Supabase in the EU, so your profile and game data stay within the EU.

Who we share it with

Google, as our advertising provider (see Advertising), and Resend, the email-sending service that delivers backup codes (it receives only the email address and the message). Nobody else outside the infrastructure needed to run FlickCraic. We don't sell data.

How long we keep it

There's no fixed automatic deletion schedule yet — your data is kept while your profile is in use. You can delete everything yourself at any time in Settings → "Delete my data": this removes your profile from your phone and from our server, with its match history and any backup. Removing your backup email in Settings deletes the backup too.

On this device

FlickCraic keeps your profile, stats, match history, trophies, settings, Locker choices, whether you have Pro, how many free Knockout Cups you have used today and your age-check answer on your phone. Clearing the app's data removes them (and, without a backup, your profile can't be brought back).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, or receive a copy. Contact info@selkware.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
